There are two types of our Hartford dentures. Partials are used to replace just a few teeth, while complete ones are the solution when you have lost (or are about to lose) all of your teeth on your upper or lower jaw. At Contemporary General Dentistry, we are pleased to provide both types, with expert care that ensures optimal results.
Hartford dentures
Our Hartford dentures mean getting back your full smile, and that's important for your self-esteem and confidence. It shouldn't be this way, but other people make judgments based on your lack of teeth. There are other benefits that you get, though, and they are equally important. Your other teeth won't shift, you can chew food effectively, and your jaws won't be thrown out of alignment. Those are all great reasons to get our Hartford dentures. In contrast to dental implants, you don't have to go through testing in order to be qualified for them. And the process is much quicker, Instead of months, your dentures will be ready for you in a matter of weeks. And there is no surgery required, either. They're removable restorations. Partials are held in at your gum line with adhesive, and to your surrounding teeth with clasps. Complete ones are the same, except without clasps. The construction is a plastic base colored to resemble your gums. It is surrounded by a sturdy metal framework. On the top of the base is the appropriate number of prosthetic teeth. With just a little bit of effort, you will find that getting used to them is a snap.
Why settle for empty space where you used to have teeth? You don't have to. Dentures make it simple. So just reach out to our office and arrange an appointment to come in for a consultation to get started. Click on the “request appointment” button or call our office if that's more to your liking.
